Floating, or sensory deprivation therapy, is a natural relaxation and healing practice that involves restricting sensory input in order to achieve a deep meditative state. Although floating appears to be a passive experience, it actually accelerates the body's recovery processes.

It all begins when you settle into one of our modern pods or open float pools, which are filled with 10-11 inches of water and approximately 1,000 lbs of pharmaceutical-grade Epsom salt. As a result, you're completely buoyant and able to float effortlessly.

The concentrated Epsom salt solution supports your entire body along its natural curvature. As you're floating weightlessly, your spine begins to decompress and your joints are relieved of pressure.

The temperature is kept skin sensor neutral, about 93.5 - 95.5 degrees, causing you to lose sensation of where your body ends and the solution begins. Physical aches and pains fade away as your mind adjusts to the peaceful solitude.

"I'm often asked what is floating? At its core, float therapy is a practice that gives your mind and body a chance to temporarily unplug and unwind. It's a pause, or reset, that can lead to both physical and emotional relief."
